The process varies from client to client, depending on the scale of your project, but can look something like this:

Initial Proposal

We’ll discuss your project and needs, which will inform the type of drawing needed, our timeline, and pricing. Do you only need a line drawing for the color to then be applied in house? Alternatively, do you have an existing drawing (CAD or by hand) to be rendered? Please don’t hesitate to inquire, as I can work with you at any phase of your project. All stages of the design and building process are a possibility.

Conceptual Information Gathering

I’ll work with your sketches, architectural drawings, models, photos, site visits and/or any materials or finish samples.

Preliminary Linework

Depending on the scope of the project, a selection of rough sketches can be offered to determine view and composition. At this point, you will have an opportunity to make changes or additions to content. If the direction of the drawing meets your expectations, the conceptual sketch will be approved and signed off and the rest of the work will commence.

Completion

Drawings are offered as a digital file, either transferred electronically or on a shipped or delivered CD/DVD. Printed drawings may be discussed as an option in the initial proposal.

Pricing

Many smaller-scale projects can be completed at an hourly rate and larger projects formally quoted if needed. Any revisions or alterations to the artwork after it is completed will be billed separately.
